Doug Sherf hails from Illinois. He came to Bemidji to attend Bemidji State University. After graduation in Mass Communications with a Bachelors degree he was recruited by Roger to help with a budding business venture now known as Roger's Two Way Radio.

     Doug began his tenure in 1982 when the business was still in Roger's home. He started as the only employee, primarily doing installations and service work. The business grew and Doug's good customer relation skills were a real positive asset to the business. When the business moved to its present location he became shop manager, overseeing service, installations and large system sales. As the customer base grew, Doug's responsibilities moved into administration and the

task of keeping 400 customers in five counties happy, while still attending to the needs of a technician staff. Doug is married with three children. They live in a new home west of Bemidji. His hobbies include biking, camping, collecting Hot Wheels cars along with car stereo and remote starter installations.
